At what cost would you be ok with Amauri?

  • Giovinco + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + Giovinco

  • Nocerino + Almiron + Marchionni

  • Almiron + Marchionni + cash

  • Fuck no, don't want him at all

Let Palladino go and Criscito.

Palla always plays on the left or right flank, we can use giovinco on that spot.
He impressed me more than Palla did whole season.

And let Criscito go because we get a extra defender in the transfer window + Andrade will be back and Mellberg will come, what the hell do we need Criscito for then. He will never play then.

Andrade
Mellberg
Chiellini
Legrotaglie
and if they are smart they buy Stendardo to.

enough CB right...

and if Zamparini is still whining like a bitch then give him Nocerino to. i aint that big a fan of him. Next season we have on the midfield

Sissoko
Zanneti
Marchisio
and if we do good we maybe get Hamsik.
+ we still got Tiago who is doing better each game he playes....

Maybe these rumours have been deliberatley spread as misinformation, Moggi style. The proposed deal is so shockingly bad, that is simply has to be.

Juventus Plot Amauri Part-Exchange?

The transfer rumours surrounding Palermo star Amauri show no sign of letting up, with the latest story from the Italian media concerning a possible players-plus-cash deal from Juventus...

The Old Lady are said to be mulling over the idea of a three-player exchange with the Sicilians as the chase for Amauri continues.

The three player-plus-cash deal is said to involve Paolo De Ceglie, Sebastian Giovinco and Domenico Criscito.

Of the trio, the star is probably Giovinco, who has been an absolute stand-out for Empoli. The tiny attacking midfielder has been tipped for a triumphant return to Turin next season, but he could instead serve as a valuable bargaining chip.

Criscito spent the first half of the current campaign at Juve before returning to former club Genoa on loan. The centre-back, a former Italian U-21 international, would be called upon to cement what is currently one of the Lega's worst defences.

Finally, De Ceglie is in the midst of a relatively successful spell at Siena, where he plays left-back.

The Correire dello Sport claims that such a swap deal would also necessitate cash - quite a lot of it, in fact. In addition to the three players, Juve may be called upon to shell out €12.6m for the Brazilian.

That should never happen!!!! It's a stupid transfer to us!! Amauri is almost 28 years old!!! When Trezeguet and Del Piero retire, he will be retiring too!!
It's better to go for a younger striker that have proven that is good, like Pazzini.

Oh My God Secco needs to commit suicide. I for one would not trade Giovinco alone for Amauri. This is ludicrous. Fuck Secco!

Secco isn't going to trade Giovinco for Amauri. Don't yell at Secco for an easily written headline.

Has to be Bull Shit. Even if this is Secco's idea there has to be at least one person with a brain at the club that can veto this shit.

I hope we dont even buy this player.

As i read that i couldn't but shake my head; so, giovinco imressed you more than palla? Guess what, giovinco played like 7 times more games too. And then, Giovinco didn't even play for US. How could u possibly compare these two players? (and i'm not even considering that they don't play the same position)... come on, that's just ridiculous. We don't know how giovinco will be here. Should he not succeed, i can already predict the posts here... "give away giovinco, bring lanzafame". Do you even remember what was being saif when palladino came? Well the same thing that now is being written for giovinco. And let me say this; they're both good players, but none of them is a magician. They both need further practice, further experience, further development.

    :agree:
yes potential means nothing if you don't fufil it, but i wouldn't take the chance of using any of our youngsters to get that oaf amauri as we would most probably end up kicking ourselves when barca or madrid break the bank to buy giovinco

A comparisson between the two can be made. Not the most accurate comparisson, though.
At Giovinco's age, Palladino was more of a sub in Livorno and he was just another player in Italian u-21 where he was also fighting for a place in the team.
Giovinco, on the other side, is arguably the best player in his club and he's alpha and omega in Italian u-21 where he's absolutely irreplaceable.

Why the hell would you want to buy Stendardo (Yes he has performed good for us, but if we are going to buy a CB we might as well go for Zapata who is much better CB and also young. Plus keeping Tiago would be a big mistake and it would be wise to sell him now than to wait another season, when his market price would be lower.

It would be a risk to buy Amauri since most South American players tend to start fading at the age of 30. Unlike european player who most retired with their clubs in europe.

Trend is that most south american players are worthless and tend to go back to their home countries or middle east/asia.

But Amauri started to play professional football at the very late age, so his organism isn't that "exploited" due to professional sport as organisms of his contemporaries. So Amauri probably won't fade that quickly (at 30), we can consider him in fact as a player one or two years younger than he is.
