We have the two top goal scorers in the serie A in trezeguet and Del Piero and we have Iaquinta as back up.

Why do we need 4 strikers???

We could have spent that money on strengthening midfield and defence something we actually need to do!!!!!!!

I just feel that for next season of vital importance should be strengthening our defence and midfield. For next season at least our strike force is good. However if you think we are going to get anywhere in the CL with our current midfield and defence then you are delusional.

We could easily have bought a striker next season when we have more money from CL tv rights and thus should spend the money we have now on quality midfielders and defenders

Yes, but we have already signed Amauri first. You cant turn back time . I was pointing out that the Amauri deal hasn't taken any time of the summer. So we can start looking now for other transfers and by the end of the summer we'll have improved the defence and midfield.

For me amuari is a one season wonder.. and really not much of a wonder, over rated and I reckon his gonna flop. We should have rather gone for one of the young south americans prodigy we have been linked/not linked with.

There still is plenty of time to invest in good defenders and midfielders.

I don't think he will flop, just like Momo, I think this guy will turn out to be a good transfer for us.
We don't need unproven players, we need players that can make an immmediate impact if DP or Trez are unavailable, and I feel Amauri is that kind of guy.

We will see next season who is right and who is wrong.
