Amauri Carvalho de Oliveira (27 Viewers)

At what cost would you be ok with Amauri?

  • Giovinco + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + Giovinco

  • Nocerino + Almiron + Marchionni

  • Almiron + Marchionni + cash

  • Fuck no, don't want him at all

  • Almiron+cash

Amauri is alot like Drogba but i am not sure he would work well with Trez. Plus we already have Iaquinta. I would not be sad if we did sign him though as he is a sick player.

I like the thinking of Ze Tahir on the Pandev idea though. Lazio need players and we have a few we don't need. Maby Boumsong + Marchionni would be enough to tempt Lazio or even throw in Almiron or Olivera or someone.

Barzagli is a good CB but not as valuable as palermo think he is. I think Boumsong and 4 or 5 million Euro would be fair but we would probably have to pay alot of cash
Let's give them Boumsong, Almiron, and Brazzo. A surprise pack :D

i kinda like Salihamidzic. he is a hardworker and can play a number of positions. also he does not make a problem when he does not start games.

but pandev is very good. he can be a worthy long term replacement for Ale. Just as VDV can be for Nedved
I like him too, but come next season he'll do them more good than us. Almiron and Boumsong alone is not a deal, throw in Sali and that's something Lazio might bite on.

I was happy when I read the first two names but once I read the third, I was surprised you named him. Brazzo is a important squad player and can cover a lot of positions; LB, RB, LW & RW. He hasn't given any problems yet. :bigscarf:

do u think marchionni would be more enticing for them seeing how he is a goal scoring attacking mid and italian international? plus he is younger.

these are good ideas.. i hope Secco reads this forum :)

i would if i was him to understand what the fans think and want.

I long for the day this thread gets closed. I don't mind Amauri but Barzagli would be such a waste of resources.

but he is always injured and is not a starter when Camo is available. Sali can play alot of places so he gets alot of games and has a great deal of CL experience which we will need next season.

i don't mean we should for sure lose Marco but I am not convinced losing Sali is good. We have alot of other players we could give Lazio. Supposedly they like Mirante too.

i wish i was as lucky as Secco , at getting an awesome job i do not deserve at all.

hmm either way Pandev would be very very good.

What do you think of Drenthe? i like him alot and maby we can work something out with Madrid.

as for barzagli i would not be mad if we signed him but i am not sue he would be a starter if Andrade returned to form. or maby Chiellini would be moved back to the left which would give us a very strong defence but would probably not please Chiellini

Pandev is not worth giving 3 players away. And by the way, he is not that good. Someone mentioned he keeps on scoring for fun, but the truth he is not too prolific in goal-scoring, his goal count is 7, the same as Del Piero and only 1 goal more than Iaquinta, who had double less playing time.

Amauri/Huntelaar are much better solutions.

This is true re Brazzo. He works hard, can play in so many different positions and is appreciated by all. Also it has lots of experience in CL which is very handy for days to come.
We got him on a free transfer and it doesnt brake our bank. He is great team player too.

Amauri will not be moving anywhere until June.

Amauri Says No To January Transfer

Palermo ace Amauri will stay at Palermo until at least the end of the season, but is giving serious thought to playing for the Azzurri.

Palermo's in-demand striker Amauri won't be going anywhere in the January transfer window, he has confirmed.

The Brazilian-born star has been hotly pursued by Serie A giants Juventus and Milan, but won't be leaving Sicily just yet even though Rosanero president Maurizio Zamparini slapped a €22m price tag on the player's head.

Honour

“It’s a great honour to be linked with such great clubs as Milan and Juventus and it is another source of motivation to keep doing well,” Amauri told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“However, I won’t be leaving Palermo in January. We will have to wait and see what happens in June. I get on very well with my fellow strikers Fabrizio Miccoli and Edison Cavani.

"The former packs the crucial punch and has helped me express myself fully and the latter runs tirelessly and creates so much space.”

Italian Incentive

Amauri also revealed that he's now giving serious thought to representing Italy at international level, thereby turning his back on Brazil.

“It gives me enormous pleasure that (Italy coach) Donadoni holds me in high regard and would consider me for a place in the world champions’ squad,” said the Palermo man. “For the moment there is no news on the passport situation and the whole business isn’t simple. All I can do is wait.”

It's said that Bayern sent an official offer for Pandev, 22 million EUR.
Bayern's officials were following him in every match Pandev played in last 3 or 4 months.
He's gone to Bayern 100%

Actually him and Drogba are completely different players imo..Amauri is more on the technical side..Drogba on the other hand is a more physical player..
