Amauri Carvalho de Oliveira (40 Viewers)

At what cost would you be ok with Amauri?

  • Giovinco + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + Giovinco

  • Nocerino + Almiron + Marchionni

  • Almiron + Marchionni + cash

  • Fuck no, don't want him at all

  • Almiron+cash

All this talk of Gio being part of an exchange has to be BS. I beleive NOW gio is a better player then Amauri!!!

He is a good player but not worth cash plus any of Gio, DeCeglie, Marchiso, Palla or Nocinero!! We must keep all these players.

Give them Almiron, Tiago, Cricito, part of Lanzafame, give them all of Molinaro but please dont sell our future its the first time in along time we have such great talent coming up and if Secco wastes them NO Juve support in the world would forgive this MUG!!!

You owe us Secco dont let Palermo push us around Moggi wouldnt!!!

Ancelotti was asked about the future and various reports linking Milan to a series of players.

I respect Amauri and have said so many times, but it will be difficult to see him arrive at Milan? Does Didier Drogba have a deal with Milan? It’s all rubbish.

“Ronaldinho? I have no news on that front. As with Amauri, he is well-respected, but it’ll be difficult to sign him.”

Channel 4

I think the Milan link was made up by Amauri's agent to get a better deal.

Though Milan should try to sign him as he would fit into their system and hes Brazilian.

For all you brains out there about the transfer market. Lets say worst case scenario our board actually agrees to this monstrosity, can Giovinco spoil the whole thing himself by not signing a contract with Palermo?

As Gazzo pointed out earlier, his father is from Palermo, so it's highly unlikely.

He is a traquerista...and he stated that...he loves to play in that role, behind the strikers...a classic #10...play maker...And Juve must start to think in that way, to build a team around him (like Werder did for Diego), not other way around...

ps: o yea Fuc** Amauri, we don't need him, he is a plus not a priority (like Cronus said)...Succko better keep Gio, De Ceglie, Marchisio and Lanzefame....
Do you really think Giovinco is ready for a team to be build around him??

Simplicio: I Know Where Amauri Is Going

Palermo’s Brazilian playmaker Fabio Simplicio insists that he will be staying at the Rosanero rather than move to Milan - but claims to know who sought-after striker Amauri has already signed for.

It seems as if there is an exodus of quality players from Palermo this season with Amauri, Christian Zaccardo and Andrea Barzagli all leaving after the Rosanero woefully underperformed this season.

Reports in Italy claimed that Simplicio would also be jumping ship. However, the player reveals that he has no intention of leaving Sicily.

“I am staying at Palermo one hundred percent,” Simplicio told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

“I have heard that Milan have been looking at me as well as Inter but I think they are just rumours more than anything else.

“I am well in Palermo and I would like to stay in Sicily until my contract expires in 2010.

“As for Amauri, I am happy for him. He has already told me of where he will play next season but I can’t tell anyone.”

Amauri has been linked with a move to Juventus. However, Milan did try and sign him as well but it seems like we will have to wait and see just where the player has ended up.

The Rosanero will be hoping to end their season on a good note when they take on Sampdoria on Sunday.

Giovinco is at a different level than De Ceglie and Marchisio though.I dont think he's ready to have a team centered around him as yet,but he'll be there in a few more years. This is a team in transition. The experienced players need to step up and take responsiblity, and shift it to the youngsters a few years down the road.

Along with Marchisio, de Ceglie, etc etc. why not? He has great players around him right now to learn from, he wont have that at palermo.
my question wasnt whether they were ready to play, my question was whether he was ready to have a team built around him or not.

guys guys guys... i'm kind of worried what people are expecting here out of our formica. A team built around him? come on? do you expect camo/neddy to change because of gio? don't get me wrong; gio is great, and i want him back. But up until now, he played for empoli and even there not constantly... He'll be great, but let's give him a chance to settle before we expect him to bring us the CL-Cup. I don't want to be the pessimist, but putting all our hopes on gio is wrong imo. i expect him to be good, but i don't know how good he'll be in the end in his first season already

I don't think we should built our team around seba. Giovinco has been playing all this season as a left winger and in many games for italy U21 as a left winger so he allready can play in nedved's place. We all know that ranieri is in love with his formation and won't change it even if we had zidane himself in the team. So its simple play gio as a left winger in the league games next year and nedved in europe (cause we need he's experience) this way gio will get a big chance to play next season........

He can play AMF in Europe because we will have to change our formation to suit the different styles of play we will be facing.

Man Utd play a 442 in the league while in Europe they play 451 which they change to a 433 when attacking.

Gio would fit in perfectly in that formation... as would Palla :eyebrows:

lets wait to see what the verdict is before we start telling our coach/board where WE think we should be playing Gio and whether or not we can build a team around him now or in the future...if we get ride of Gio in this Scheisse deal with Amauri, then unfortunately that would change pretty much everything we have been talking about in this thread...

whos nervous about losing our youngsters? some of you seem sure that he is staying, others not so sure.
