Technically we are only paying 2 million to loan him this season and if we want to keep him next year we pay 18m... If he really blows up like everyone including RM and obviously Juve expect him to, then RM will have an option to buy him back for an agreed fee. RM batting for 30 million while Juve holding firm at setting that figure at 40 million.

At least that's what all the credible sources have been reporting.. the Di Marzio, Romeo Agresti etc.

Juve are obviously not in a position to splash 22 million off the bat on Morata. Plus why would anyone compare Mandzukic... When looking at transfers you have to factor in the wages and the full cost of the deal (fee + wages over life of contract). Mandzukic is reported to be getting close to 5 million Euros at Atleti over 4 - 5 years so that at least 20 million plus another 22 million transfer fee makes his deal over 40 million. Plus he is too similar to Llorente...Morata at least is more mobile, versatile (can play wide) and pacey...

He's definitely a talented striker. It's so wrong people quote Madrid fans' opinions on him. They are the most biased and deluded fans in the world. It's not their fault but if you're getting a new 100m toy every summer it's bound to happen. They actually have a fantastic team and getting any player from their squad would be good tbh.

I'm all for this transfer and Iturbe's finally we're taking the right path and I couldn't care less how much they cost.
