When they feel a deal can happen they do that. When we got Krasic they did the same.

Hope we get him, wouldn't mind developing the next great Spanish striker with us. Spain don't have that many good striker to begin with and with the fiasco in the World Cup they will rebuild and as soon as he gets selected for the NT his value will go up.
The only problem is that he would not fit in a tiki taka style of play.

    Release clause?

The difference between the clubs is wide, Real’s request and Juventus’ offer are very distant. Bianconeri will try to narrow down the gap inserting some bonuses related to the buy-back clause (e.g. Juventus would pay €17/18M immediately and then add €5M if Real Madrid doesn’t pick up the option). Another idea is to work with some mediators on the figure of the clause: Real would like it to be 50 percent more of the fee (e.g. Juventus pays Morata €20M, Real can bring him back for €30M), while Juventus would like it to be twice as much as the fee (e.g. Juventus spends €20M and then Real has to pay €40M). There’s an opening to work on that, Juventus could buy him for a lower fee and the buy-back clause would still be high, as requested by Bianconeri. They are negotiating also on the duration: Merengues asks that the clause lasts for two years. Juventus is hopeful, they have the player’s will on their side. The negotiation is entering its central stages.

Yeah we definitely need Sanchez more. Morata would be useful though he's pretty good.

TBH Beppe should have sold more of the youngsters. After all he should gather enough money to buy both. From there he can do his swap - instalments on Pereyra and Darmian.

The latest on this guy is 16m + 4m in bonuses with a 1st rights to buy if sold and not a set amount to buyback.
