He knows that we'd be losing on this deal, one way or the other. If we buy him it will be in our best interest to see him succeed here; but if he becomes too good Real might bring him back and then we would have basically developed player for them, like some feeder club. That buy-back clause must be one of the most ridiculous things that someone has offered to us.

that´s a very one-sided way to look at it. he is their player and we don´t have any leverage besides vidal and pogba.
i don´t think these numbers have any foundation but free loan+option to buy for 15mio next season and real having a 30mio option the year after? i think this would be great and therefore could never happen ^^.
you make it look like there are only two possibilities:
- either he flops completely or
- he becomes an absolute world class 40mio++ striker...
it´s far more likely that he will do well, we buy him for 15 and he keeps doing well still isn´t worth 30mio...

but as i said: i don´t believe those numbers at all. real won´t offer that.

That is why I've said if he becomes too good. There's always a chance of him becoming just a good striker, nothing spectacular and Real won't bid in that case. But we'd be taking most of the risk here; firstly by paying rather big trasfer fee (20m is big IMHO) for still unproven youngster and to protect our investment he'd be getting lot of playing time, while it can go both ways for those young players, as we've seen and it's also resonable to assume that he might flop and we'd be losing our money in that case.
