I find Iturbe with a much bigger risk that it won't work.
Morata is not needed and I don't see a point of it unless it's a loan. We should rather invest that money on some winger that we can count on. If we're switching to 4-3-3 then Tevez and Llorente can rotate, but we need wingers.

But this move scares me... it makes me think Morata will be starting on the wing for us. Morata - Tevez/Llorente - Iturbe

i think it´s highly unlikely that we are going to rotate tevez and llorente. pretty much impossible.
tevez will probably be pushed a bit towards the wing, i guess.
if that´s the case we will definately need a llorente backup and imo morata will be perfect for that.

well obviously but you have to sign the players first before you start training ^^.
so marotta, conte and co must have a formation/line-up in mind and i´m 100% sure that it´s not morata on the wing and tevez/llorente rotating as cf ;).

We'd need a striker, yes. But IMO spending 15mln + bonuses for someone who'd be a rotation (while we need key players in our starting XI) is retarded. For example, we could spend it on somebody and not sign Evra. Or we'd sign a winger and loan someone.

I dont mind morata as a back up because he seems to be a good striker. He is more or less a Llorente with some better ball control and less accuracy. Like a variation.

What I dont undertand is the price madrid is aking, and the weird clauses. I just hope we dont get robbed on this deal and whe end up as the winners, if this goes thru that is

depends on the actual formation. a lot is pointing towards 433 (or something similar) and if tevez really get´s pushed torwards the wing morata/the llorente back-up would probably get A LOT of minutes.
but i obviously see your point. i like morata and trust in conte who seems to absolutely love him. that´s enough for me for now :).
the latest was loan+option anyways, wasn´t it?

I think we wont spend more than 5m for loan this year. It looks like we are trying to put off major payments for him on next year.

Morata on the wing and Tevez in the middle. It's Conte we're talking about it's obvious it'll be the other way round.

Tevez will be LWF just like Vucinic was IMO. Conte already played him there and I think that's what on his mind. Iturbe is obviously RWF and Morata is like a more mobile version of Llorente.

So you suggest we're going full force on Sanchez and then loan an useless Osvaldo-like striker for the bench?

I can bet that Morata will be a FAIL for our team. Why to spend 15m for Morata? Iturbe is more talented, is a winger and has so much potential to be a superstar. Morata has proven nothing until now. Don't look at u-level. If he was that good, now Real Madrid will don't look for Falcao but they would give chances to their youth product.
If he was the same level with Jese..that's all.

We are buying him outright, his contract is expiring in 2015. Problem now on Real insistence to put the buy back option.

Morata is a good talent, his movement up front is something Llorente is lacking. And come on, we know how Real would always go for established stars just to appease their fans and a tit for tat response to Barca's transfer.

Well I think Morata would be very good option for us. Don't forget this is a loan if he disappoint us, we can easily send him back.

thx. yeah i know that his contract expires but there has always been talk about a loan+option/obligation so he would obviously have to extend his contract first (weird...).

lol? it´s real... it wouldn´t surprise me if they tried to beat barca to sanchez after they secure falcao. that´s just what real does...
why not look at u-level? why are so many clubs interested in him and why does real go absolutely insane about this buy-back clause if he just isn´t good enough?
furthermore, it´s not iturbe OR morata... we want both.

Some reports say we'd loan him for a couple of millions but other reports (and Di Marzio) are saying that we'd pay 15mln + bonuses for him (and buyback included).
