I now have a lot of US dollars do you experts reckon I should trade them in now that the dollar got a lot stronger or should I wait a little longer?

And no Enron, I'm not taking your advice. :p
Pretty much all indicators say buy the USD. The trend is still up, so we probably will see a further rise in the dollar. It's made a pretty nice run recently.

    I ain't no expert though. :p

i find it funny that people don't realize that what we are headed for (and are currently in) is 100x worse than the Great Depression :disagree:

We don't know that yet. Just have to see how far this credit crisis goes. Next stop is credit card delinquency, which probably won't be as bad as the whole housing/CDS disaster.

dude alot of ppl lost alot of money

a family we knew in cali is dead. the father lost obscene amounts of money and couldn't make his mortgage payment. he killed his wife and kids and then himself.

they were very well off but apparently "joe six-pack" isn't the only guy being affected

I'm not saying it's a piece of cake situation for everyone. Come on, that would be absurd. But the Great Depression, if you adjust for real value, was worse at this point. In the coming months we will see if this was worse than the the GD. Hopefully it won't be.
