The Allievi Nazionali continued their recent charge up the table by registering their fourth victory in the last five games.
This week’s victims of Ivano Della Morte’s buoyant Bianconeri were Livorno, who returned to Tuscany empty-handed after a 5-1 drubbing at Juventus Center.
It wasn’t all plain sailing for the hosts, however, with a strong second-half performance required to see off the Amaranto after the game remained evenly poised at 1-1.
But a Moncini double and goals from Gili, Sallustio and Pellini significantly tipped the balance in the Bianconeri’s favour.
Della Morte’s side will be back in championship action next Sunday, playing host to mid-table outfit Grosseto.
