There's plenty of international action in store tonight with a full round of 2014 World Cup and 2013 European U-21 Championship qualifying matches – the last of 2012.
Bianconeri players are expected to be heavily involved tonight before returning to domestic commitments and Saturday's highly awaited encounter between Juve and Napoli. Asamoah, Caceres and Vidal have returned to the fold but 13 players will be on international duty in five matches across Europe and South America.
The main focus will be on Milan where Italy host Denmark at 20:45 evening. An opportunity for Bendtner – who was in target against Bulgaria last Friday – to try and get one over some of his Bianconeri team-mates. Eight to be precise, as Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Giaccherini, Marchisio, Pirlo and Giovinco are all in Prandelli's squad for tonight's Group B clash.
If those nine will be in action "just down the road" in international terms, much longer trips await Lichtsteiner and Vucinic. Switzerland are to be entertained by Iceland while Montenegro, who didn't play last Friday, also travel north to lock horns with Ukraine.
In South America all eyes will be on Isla as Chile, without the suspended Vidal, do battle with Argentina.
Finally, for the Italy Under-21 side two years of work all rests on what happens in 90 minutes. Marrone and his team-mates take on Sweden looking to defend the 1-0 lead they earned in the play-off first leg in Pescara, and thus book their place in next summer's European Championship finals in Israel.
