According to www.mercafutbol.com we are considering offering 27M for Alexis. Too much money in my opinion given his current form. He had a lot of potential but success got into his head thinking he was gonna be the next cristiano Ronaldo but he failed miserably at Barcelona.

Materazzi Interview.

Materazzi also remains very close to Mourinho and the Real Madrid manager is rumoured to be heading for PSG.

“If that happens, I don’t know what will become of Ibrahimovic. They did not leave each other on good terms.

“Ibra dumped us during a pre-season training camp in Los Angeles to join Barcelona. He told Cristian Chivu: ‘You won’t even win the Scudetto without me.’ Mourinho confronted him and said: ‘I want you to know that we’ll win everything without you.’ That was exactly what happened.

“In fact, I now have a concern that Milan will win the Champions League. It already happened at Barcelona and Inter, as when Ibra leaves, that team then lifts the trophy...”
Another win for the special one.

Anyone know if there was a contact between Juve and Barca when they played CL in Milano last week? And where does all this Sanchez talk stem from - is it just a rumor by tuttosport or something or is it actually legit?

Juventus’ idea to net Sanchez

By Football Italia staff

Tuttosport are today suggesting that Juventus are ready to make a bid for Barcelona’s Alexis Sanchez at the end of the season.

Emissaries of the Old Lady will allegedly make initial contact with Barca in Milan today before their Champions League tie against the Rossoneri this evening.

Juventus are hoping to do the kind of deal which Milan secured when they netted Zlatan Ibrahimovic from the Nou Camp outfit.

Director general Beppe Marotta is said to be prepared to pay €5m for the forward’s one-year loan. They are then willing to offer €20m in the summer of 2014 to sign him outright.

Sanchez, 24, joined the Spanish giants from Udinese in July 2011 for a basic €26m fee – and an extra €11.5m if certain bonus clauses were activated.

The South American has struggled for regular action at Barca this season
:boh:

Make of it what you will.

I'm not a fan of the sanchez signing, but IF we'd do it, i prefer the 5mil loan + x mil buyout(not forced) then the 18 mil straight.

Proven serie a player ? Both him and giovinco had good seasons at Counterattacking teams

Both Giovinco and Sanchez failed at pressing offensive teams.

Vidal's agent met with marotta for contract extention and payrise.
Sanchez has the same agent

Someone took note of both party's meeting.
Tuttosport created a story about Sanchez.

According to these logics one could argue Cavani play for a counterattacking team too then

Cavani isnt a fast paced dribbeler that makes most of a quick counter. He's a complete centreforward, who is excellent in moving away from his marker, keeping the ball under pressure and winning it back himself, beeing a real weight on the opposing defence.

And napoli make a physical pressing game, unless the opponent is better at it, then they switch to counters. So they are as much a counterattacking team as milan
