I'm not sure about the Vucinic-Llorente pairing. Should work well in games where Juve are dominant and there isn't much space, but is a bit short of pace for more open games or games where Juve want to play on the counter-attack.

I agree that a goal-scoring SS would be preferable to Sanchez, but Sanchez is that good that I'm not sure it would be resonable to turn down the opportunity to sign him.

My reasoning for looking for a goal-scorer is rather different to yours, though. Just now, Juve don't have a CF capable of consistently contributing to building up the play. That means they need someone like Vucinic to basically play like a trequartista and to have all the play go though him. With Llorente, Juve are going to have much more options for how to build up the play, so there shouldn't be the same need to have one of the forwards playing an almost solely creative role, so they should be able to have a SS who has more of a balance between creativity and goal-scoring.

For playing style, I'd say Suarez and Jovetic would both be better fits for Juve than Sanchez.
Interesting and suarez would be my SS of choise, since he applies the best to your "scoring ss" type, altho i'm afraid we can immediatly scrap Suarez from the list because financially impossible.

Between Sanchez and Jovetic, well i talked about the ideal situation, but obviously we'll only buy one of them IF a good financial opportunity arises.

Why does everyone think Sanchez is going out of barcelona for a low fee ?

He's had a bad season this far. It depends on his performances until the summer. I think Barca will make a couple of changes over the summer - offensively most of all. Sanchez haven't found his feet in barca and much was expected of him but he just havent delivered.. I think he'd be tempted by Juve

Players like Sanchez & Jovetic could come for lower than their market value if we negotiated properly given their weak seasons to date this year.

Just an optimist being optimistic, though.

Dude we all got infected during the 2009-2010 season.

Nothing we can do about it now, just forget it ever happened. Block it out.

*Any names for a decent young affordable CB?

Minimum 2 buys: Veratti & Sanchez. Third being a new CB.

Sanchez with loan + option to buy. Veratti 18m. Masi for back up.

Meh. I wouldn't say it is as difficult as some are making it out to be.

i tought masi is allready one of us, or is he co owned ? cause u said "a new cb"

Verratti is a tricky thing, if psg doesnt feel like selling, even reverting those numbers wont be enough.

Sanchez, i'm wondering. We could do that, IF no one comes around that offers to buy him rightout.

cause thats the weak link of the deals we do. its all fine, untill someone offers the cash straightaway. Especially one of the 8 teams richer then us

Masi could still come back, don't listen to Melo.

Veratti could leave if Ancelotti leaves, or if the right offer comes and he wants to come back to Italy.

Most teams that could afford Sanchez are already stacked in that department: Real, Barca doesn't need him, PSG, Bayern & Man U. I think we could have an excellent chance, not to mention our Chilean duo already here could do some convincing too.

I think it's entirely possible. We will probably make a couple sales as well to raise funds. Let's say we sell Quag for 8m (and keep Matri) and perhaps sell Gio for 12m (and keep Mirko)...that's an easy 20m raised to get Veratti and a minimum budget left to work with a loan + option on Sanchez and small golden handshake to get the deal completed.

Hell...we could even bring back Sorensen :tuttosport:

Milan have Balotelli & SES...not sure they have the money to add something in that department. Inter won't have much to spend IMO plus they still have Cassano & Palacio. They need a pure striker with the Milito injury.

Napoli can't afford unless the sell, which I doubt would happen anyways even if they sold.

I Italy I think Juve could easily get Sanchez if barca were convinced to let him leave.

Sanchez isn't the player you loan.. You buy him outright. You can loan talents or players unwanted by their club (Bendtner) but not a first team material player like Sanchez was/is thought to be in Barcelona. Keep in mind they had massive expectations of him finding his form and link up with Messi etc.. I think barca think of Sanchez as a bit of a disappointment and could be tempted to cash in on him and get back the money they invested in him 1,5 years ago.. If we want Sanchez I believe it would take at least 20m € but something in that region could be enough i believe.

well, consider two scenarios:

A.) Barca wants him out, but not many want or can afford him...so a loan might be the best option to take with a clause to purchase inserting into it.

or

B.) We have more money to spend than all of us here are aware of.

I'm all for spending the money if we have it, if not then perhaps we can take one of Sanchez or Villa?

SANTIAGO. - The arrival of Arturo Vidal to Juventus opened the appetite of the Italian table with Chilean players. former Colo Colo After Mauricio Isla came and now go by another obsession: Alexis Sanchez. According to several Italian media, there is an interest of the 'Old Lady' in tocopillano. The letter is formed in Cobreloa very well regarded by coach Antonio Conte, who is considered the ideal complement for Fernando Llorente in attack. The idea of request would be assigned Juventus for a season, with an option to buy. Should sign him, his offer would be slightly less than the 26 million euros (11.5 million in variables) that Barca paid in 2011 to Udinese for their recruitment. At most, would reach 25 to 30 million. If the operation does not bear fruit, the other candidate for the Turin club's attack Jovetic of Fiorentina. And rumors of a departure from Barcelona Sánchez accrue after poor season who has had the Chilean. Regents themselves Catalan box would not be very convinced tocopillano continuity in the club.

The best thing about that article is our Chilean connection to help influence Sanchez. Our our Montenegrin connecion to influence Jovetic as well if need be. :challenge:
