I'd be intrigued to see 2008 Sissoko in Melo's position in that team, I have to say.

Not that I'd have any great inclination to ditch Melo in favour of Sissoko, especially given how ineffective Sissoko has been more recently.

that MF will not work, Inler and Melo are basically the same kind of player.
Actually, that's not true. Inler is a box to box midfielder while Melo is a defensive midfielder.

Inler is a better passer.

The thing with a 4-3-3 like this:

Buffon
Lichtsteiner-Bonucci-Chiellini-Ziegler
Inler-Pirlo-Marchisio
Krasic-Matri-Sanchez

Usually in a 4-3-3 wouldn't there be a defensive midfielder like Melo/Lass? Because Inler and Marchisio are both box to box midfielders while Pirlo is a deep-lying playmaker.

Buffon
Lichtsteiner-Bonucci-Chiellini-Ziegler
Inler-Pirlo-Lass
Krasic-Matri-Sanchez

I think that with a DM like Lass instead of a second box to box(Marchisio), the midfield would be more solid.

Thoughts?

Firstly they are not that similar. Inler is more of a passing midfielder than Melo who is by comparison more defensive. Secondly, even if they were very similar why is that midfield not functional?

Juve draw up Sanchez offer
Juventus are preparing an ambitious bid to tempt Udinese into releasing Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.

The Turin giants are interested in the Chilean international, but it was understood that Inter and Manchester City were in better positions to sign him.

Stories in Italy on Tuesday though are suggesting that the Turin giants are in with a serious shot of landing the forward.

Given that Juventus are also interested in Gokhan Inler, it is claimed that the Bianconeri will offer the Stadio Friuli outfit a combined €50m for both men.

Juve could also insert players within the deal, with Sebastian Giovinco and Amauri possible inclusions.

Giovinco and Amauri finished the past campaign on loan at Parma.

It’s also claimed that Juventus and Sanchez have already agreed personal terms, leaving just an agreement between the clubs to find.

If we sign him I hope he`ll prove me wrong but I rate Sanchez as a good player even a very good player but I see the 30M-35M price too high for his abilities
I rather we spend the money on someone else
Aguero would be my favourite but if he is not available for our budget there are other players G.Rossi Neymar... Actually the one I think would fit the best is G.Rossi altough I`m more hopefull for Aguero and Neymar

As for Melo I can`t see him as a sub its eigther starting 11 or being sold
