And that's him having a substandard season... truth be told he was indeed hot and cold for most of it, even seemed unmotivated at times(on this statement i dare to say it has more to do with his repetetive snubbing by Brazil rather than him forcing his way out of Juve or whatever related media bs) but overall he still managed to step up at some crucial moments while also being solid more often than not, imo which also serves as a good reminder of his undeniable quality, he just needs to be up to it mentally above all.

I must aswell add that after watching this highlight reel i also feel as he been robbed of at least a couple more assists due to some very poor finishing by others...

Yep, quality player. However, I'm afraid he's a goner and he is going to regret it.
Well, that's also plausible, which would nonetheless be understandable to some extent...

This says a lot...

he refused Juventus offert of 5,5m/year
what do you think ? Juventus tried for months to renew his contract but he wanted to leave last summer and didn't want to sign anything....

Apply some simple logic to that, please.

While being on 2.8m/year why would he refuse 5.5m/year last summer knowing that he will anyway be forced to stay for another year? That would mean he rather stay here 'against his will' for another year on 2.8m/year(which is half of what he could have earned in that same time span), renewing doesn't mean he coudn't eventually leave the very next summer afterall... Does that really make sense to you?

That being said, i don't believe even the slightest of that 'rumour', to me it's more likely that the rumoured 5.5m/year was rather what he demanded, and the club probably wasn't willing to match that.(but yet again all this are so far just assumptions, nothing more.)

if you read my messages in this topic sometime ago I was saying the same thing.
Dunno why he refused everything knowing full well he would be sold this summer....

I have a feeling there was some hard feelings when he stayed. Im sure he was offered more money but wasnt happy with the offer for financial reasons or that he just wanted another team. Either way he was forced to stay for another year and still made little money. Im sure if he signed a long term contract and commited himself to us we would give him 4-4.5
