Bayern bought Neuer when he had 1 year left on his contract, sometimes you have to do what you have to do, we have money to spend, and Spinazzola is a good player
Are you seriously comparing KEITA to Neuer who at the time was one of the best GKs in the world, possibly only second to Buffon? I agree that sometimes you have to break the band even if the contract expires. But Keita is worth half that money.

Spinazzola might be good. But we're not Fiorentina. We need world class players here to compete for the CL. We're selling Sandro who's probably second best left back in the world. He's hard to replace but if we're selling him then might as well get Mendy or someone and not Spinazzola who's yet to shape out.

Any new recycled news today?
Nothing good.

QS: Sandro has chosen Chelsea, Juve going after Aurier

La Stampa is saying that Chelsea is offering him double wages that he's getting here.

:lol2: no.... plus, Keita is not worth 30mln ffs, his contract expires next summer. That would be horrible. Spinazzola to replace Sandro... sure.

Still dont understand how Marotta can let this happen unless his point is to sell him.
If we dont want to sell we shouldnt let other club talk to Sandro, because of this now we have problem with wages.

You don't get my point - Bayern had a chance to sign him for FREE after one year, even Neuer himself commited his future to Bayern when he said no to Schalke's new contract offer, but instead they put money on the table, while i didn't hear anything like this from Keita and his promise to join juventus so any big team can easily snitch him from us with offering him a much bigger salary while now we are in pole position for signing him for 30m now. And your opinion about his price is based on which factors exactly? He is young, promising, proved himself in serie a, exactly the player that we need to cover problematic position, this deal is no brainer

We want the money. In order to spend big we have to sell big.

We'll see, I don't know, but I don't see Sandro staying. Actually I'll be surprised if he stays here. But even if he does stay, I think he's bound to leave next summer. I was talking the same about Pogba and people laughed at me. Year and a half later we sold him. I just can't see Sandro staying here.

It's a horrible and sad thing. With this move (IF HAPPENS) we're just showing that we're not a top club. We're just an enchanted Dortmund. Sure, we reach CL finals, or at least we did over the past 3 years. But we're one of the clubs, just like Dortmund, who can't keep their best players while at the same time you can expect us to sign bright starts but just to shape them enough for top clubs, like Real or Bayern. Or even EPL money filled clubs like Chelsea or City.

You are probably right and imo he wont go to Chelsea but PSG/CITY in the end.

Because I think he lacks brain to become a WC player. Yeah, he's a good player and I'd like to see him here. However, I think it's crazy to pay 30mln for a guy who has one year on his contract. He's just not worth it.

If he had 3 years on his contracts I'd agree paying 30mln is a no brainer, though. That I agree with.

But you know what? Honestly? I think paying 30mln for Keita would be a better deal than paying 40mln + bonuses for Bernardeschi.

If he leaves this summer it's going to be Chelsea 100% IMO. I'm pretty sure Conte has placed his balls on a plate for this transfer to happen. He's a perfect fit.

Next year might be different.

La #Stampa's @MaxNerozzi is reporting that #CFC have offered #AlexSandro double the wages in comparison to #Juve

La #Stampa: #Paratici & #Marotta are still working on renewing #AlexSandro but until now, their attempts have resulted in vain.

It's the angle of the view that's matters - if Milan or any other team will sign him and he will have a good season you will say "we missed our opportunity" but if he will fail you will say "TOLD YOU SO"

I will say we missed our opportunity if they sign him for 15mln euros. If they pay 30mln and he ends up being good then they overpaid but it turned out to be good. Isn't that a risk? Yes it is.

That's not how Juve makes moves, especially when it comes to players whos contract run out.

Capacity of wages of the big clubs in Europe..

- Average [net] wages spent by the big clubs/player [in a 23 man squad]

That's why we're not a top club. Yet. But judging by our transfer policy we don't intend to become one.

Maybe that's why we suck on mercato when it comes to buying promising youngsters? Keita is only 22 years old but already with 110!! matches and 26 goals and 14 assists in Serie A, he can be used as left winger, right winger, as lone forward, as second forward, and you still underestimate him

Man, if anything, we're actually good at buying promising youngsters. Look how many we have at the moment and how many we bought over the past 5 years. We suck at keep our best players in the team.

Btw, 14 assists in 110 matches for an attacking player is nothing to be proud of actually. So I don't know why you point that out. And you want such player to be your main winger and somebody you spend 30mln on when he has one year left on his contract.

He is playing for Lazio which one of the most unstable teams in the league, even Ronaldo would not produce a lot of goals in team like this

Unstable team wouldn't be 5th and have 2 points less than a 4th placed Atalanta.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who's probably the most overrated player on this forum at the moment, had 10 assists only this season. And he plays a defensive role. You on the other hand brag how Keita has 14 assists on 110 matches.

Oh, so you escaped from defending how we should pay 30mln and play him as a winger because he had 14 assists on 110 matches, but that's just because he played for an unstable Lazio who finished being 5th.

Savic is a good player but him being overrated it totally something different. Of course he's overrated because such player isn't worth 50mln + as some suggest. Hell, he's even from my country, I guess that means something.
