Juventus continues the work of "pressing" against Porto to get the card of Alex Sandro, left-back Brazilian born 1991 currently in force to "Dragoes": as reported today's edition of "La Gazzetta dello Sport" Marotta would confirm the Lusitanian the offer of 12 million euro for the tag strong back, considering the fact that the player would be convinced to compete in our league with the shirt of vice European champions in office. It remains to be seen what the reaction of Porto offer Juve, since the Portuguese evaluate Alex Sandro not less than 20 million euro.

18mil is the fair price for Sandro. so i would accept that 20 million price tag, however this 12 million is just won't cut it. they will reject it.

The player got to push for the transfer, and we got to increase our bid by a bit. It can happen if player decides to hold out for us, and says he is not going to sign a new contract. 15 might do. 12+3 in bonus maybe .
Right now Porto is doing everything they can to make the player stay and sign a new contract, even offering the captain armband.

We shouldn't splash a lot of cash on a left back right now. Evra will still do the job this season, Pado and Asa will help.
Btw, hope that Mattiello recovers and fulfills his potential. A really loyal and promising player he is.

Whatever it takes tbh. I'd splash the cash (18m) to sign a player like this to settle the position for the long haul. Evra has one season at best.

Julian Draxler isn't the only player that Juventus is after. The bianconeri are looking for a reinforcement at left back which would allow them to move Asamoah back to the midfield. The most advanced negotiation involves Siqueira, Juventus already has an agreement with the former Benfica left back but still have to work out a deal with Atletico Madrid. The Italian club will make another attempt for Alex Sandro and Kurzawa, but for both of them they would have to pay a high transfer fee. Should neither of those options go through, Juventus will try to close the deal for Siqueira.

Buying some Siqueira for about 8-10 mil. is stupid and retarded. While Porto doesn't sell cheap and i can't see Marotta givng them 20 mil. for a left back, no way.

I havent seen enough of this guy. But if we believe he can be a starter then we should get him even for those 20m. I don't think he would demand much wages either.

If I had to bet on either Siqueira or Sandro, I'd put all my money on us signing Siqueira.

He seems like the perfect Marotta signing. Atletico just signed filipe luis back so Siqueira seems unwanted there (we all know how Marotta loves these types of deals that are easy to close).

We would slightly over pay for atletico to sign him (my guess anywhere between 10-15 mil).

We'll see what will happen.

From Calciomercato:

Alex reporting fake news again :p The release clause is @ 50 Million Euros; they might amend it, but I don't know where Alex got 60 from :D It doesn't matter anyway, as we aren't getting him.
