I'm going out on the limb here but if we sold Buffon, he wouldn't be bad for a season. Thoughts?
I'm not sure really, even though he did well for us last year. But its a whole different ball game when you know that you're no.1 and all the responsibility lies on you. I question if Manniger has the mental strength to go through it. And imagine the amount of pressure he will be under since he will be Gigi's replacement.

Well, if we couldn't find a proper replacement at the time, we might aswell keep Manninger. He's done well basically every time we needed him.

 Manni

Anyway, we're not selling Buffon, snap out of it Hus! Zacc will lead us to CL football and all will be well. :shifty:

Give the guy a break.

It's not easy to step into a team and perform instantly when you haven't played for a while.

Hopefully he's got that nervousness out of his system now and will be back to something like his best against Palermo.

Indeed. Trez was the same but these guys have not played in a while so give them the benefit.

Im just saying that Manni has been out of his old form. But that is justified for his lack of playing time on the pitch.

Hope he retains his old form ASAP.
