dude.. all defensive midfielder should be lame... the more invisble they are, the better they do their job.....
That isn't strictly true.

In a team with a good defensive record then yes, the DM may do a lot of unsung defensive work and is therefore perceived as 'invisible'.

If you are an 'invisible' DM in Juve's team this season then something is seriously wrong!

If you are invisible, and the team is conceding loads and loads of goals, surely that doesn't mean Tacchi is good at his job - it means Tacchi is nowhere near good enough.

To say Tacchi is good because he's invisible is ridiculous! Just look at our defence this season - that tells you all you need to know.

i wont go as far as saying Tacchinardi did a whole lot of good work this season.. but i rather point the finger to Appiah than Taccinardi.. Tacchinardi never makes overambitous pass that leaves the team in trouble... evertything falls apart without him having power to do everything..

Tacchi is a decent player is a fairly decent player, and Appiah isn't that bad either, I think Appiah just needed some more time to adapt himself to Juve. It was a pretty big leap in his career after all, I think the essential weakness in Juve this season was the defense. Leggrotaglie, wasn't what he promised to be and Ferrara, Pesotto, and the cadre back there are too old, and too slow.

Hopefully whoever comes after Lippi realizes that the need for a generational change is now, and brings some fresh air to Juve's defensive side.

As for Davids, he was a good player as long as he didn't get mad at the world scream at the referee and get to the showers pretty early, I'm happy for the good job he's doing in Barsa.

Tico ur right. I got nothing against Tacchi. Along his many years at Juve he has has slowly improved. The Tacchi of today is a good player but of course he cant be compared to the best DMs in the world overall. Overall Tacchi is very average, but his strengths include staying in the DM zone and backing up people like Appiah when he joins attack, and he has good fight and will foul whenever a player gets past him:cool:

Its unfair to single out one player even if Legro, Appiah, Montero, Nedved... were very poor the whole team is to blame. Im just happy we came 3rd, Imagine if we finished 5th and 6th:eek:

At the end of the day its all about Zairi. Someone make a topic about this brother. Man is loco. Juve sign the brair.
