oh, so the trick is keeping a player who will not feature in many games and so be glad to be a free agent and move somewhere else without us getting any fee, right ?
i don't know if that works in your version of football manager, but in mine it does not work and i always get fired for that !

what version of football manager do you play ? i want to get this one too ! much more cool !

thats what traitors do ! they work in the background making sinister plans to hurt juve ! but don't be sad, like every traitor, secco will get zanetti back once he is 35 ;)

fuck sucko for reducing the wages!

No ,the trick is to keep players like Poulsen with 3 mil. eur.per year and who plays as much as 6-7 games( in whole season when Sissoko or others are injured) and the trick is to keep Tiago who plays maximum 20 games for two seasons.Yes you are right I did not have your way of thinking in mind.
Try to see a little what Moggi does in his era concerning transfers, but please without calciopoli-mafia bulshit,or see whats Arsen Wenger does and his team of managers .Thats managers who have sense to buy players and not to waste money ridicioulously. And 2 milions for Zanetti is not 15 mil for Tiago or 10 or above for Poulsen.Right?

A class player like Marchionni would certainly add depth to this team. I'm tired of the boring 4-3-1-2. Let's play 4-4-2!!
:agree:

His tricky wing play, with his wonderful control and crossing ability, would add a whole new dimension to our team.

I wish we were signing world class midfielders like Zanetti and Marchionni this summer, like Fiorentina have, instead of blowing our cash on duds like Diego and Melo.

FUCK SUCKo!

Zanetti was unhappy about his spasmodic appearances. How many starts did he get last season? He certainly merited more.

At 32, he knew he had to go somewhere that placed more importance on him being a first team regular.

I suspect he saw the arrival of Felipe Melo as a watershed (in terms of his immediate future). Not exactly the last straw. He's probably a realist and sees his future as being away from Juventus. A way of enjoying the last three to four years of his career as an integral part of a club with pride and passion and, health permitting, playing regularly.

All in all, he was a valuable member of the Serie B squad and I would like to go on record to offer my thanks for his contributions to the bianconeri since he was signed by Capello and Moggi in 2005.

Hmm...we bought some good players but let's not forget we didn't buy anyone to reinforce our weakest postitions...fullbacks. What is more with a 4-3-1-2 formation they become even more crucial. Don't be surprised when opposing teams keep coming from the flanks and in the process destroy our defence.

Everyone can spend 50 million on two players...it's not that difficult...but not everyone can sell Zanetti for just 2 million..

How many of those clubs who spend €50m on 2 players balance their books?

€7m (transfer fee + wages) towards balancing our books for a player who rarely featured last season and is in the last year of his contract is not a sign of incompetence.

One of the reasons that i never rated Secco (and probably never will) is the fact that he always prefer to take the easiest solution out.

The Poulsen-zanetti situation is the perfect example here. Everyone knows that we want to sell poulsen which makes perfect sence : high salary, if sold will get us in atleast 6-7 mil thats four times the money they'll get from selling zanetti plus he's not really needed in the team with Melo's arrival.

they couldn't sell him so the next easiest move is to sell zanetti instead for almost nothing (1.5 mil euros ). Last season we did the same, tried to buy alonso couldn't get him and instead went for poulsen (a player we absalutely didn't need) yet we paid almost 10 mil euros and gave him a ridicolous wage of 3 mil a year and now they're stoked with him.

spending 50 mil euros on two players is never an achievement IMO, its just a money that was made available to the man (thanks to our staff + players and management's hards work).

everyone is entitled to their own opinion and thats my honest opinion on the guy.
