I dont like Secco whatsoever, but VERY WELL SAID.

Its extremely vital for the grief he has gotten over the years, the media has played their usual sensationalist game, and alot of fans have vented their frustrated on Secco simply based on empty baseless rumours that have as much credibility as us saying in this Forum Juve is after this or that player. If people are pre-determined to go flame someone, then they will find every opportunity they can, until they convince themselves utterly and completely.

I understand the need for that mentality, if you are used to Juve being as great as in the past, just some years ago, and want to be that great again over night, but too few stop to think of how unrealistic that is. Doesnt mean our board havent botched up or arent unambitious in parts, but for some, they cant do no right, because the expectation is Juve to become top dogs again just like THAT.
I don't like Secco either but I don't go bashing him at every opportunity nor blame him for every thing that goes wrong in the club. But that's just me.

:agree:

And don't forget that Secco is a Fiorentina fan.
That was the cherry on top.

What a shame, you accidentally came across on my posts, i hope that i didnt affected your happy mode, all is well Jack, the sky is still blue and the stars shine...
I have read your same post several times, why would I read it all over again? You are THE definition of a broken record. A broken record that says wrong news all the time. Instead of posting drama, answer my question, HAVE YOU BEEN WITH SECCO WHILE HE'S NEGOTIATING TO JUDGE HIS NEGOTIATING SKILLS?

Seriously i don't care about the rep all any of that crap. I come here to check what's new about juve and thats it. Give my opinion every now and then if am interested .
And moan and praise Milan's and Fiorentina's transfers. :seven:

Loving the avatar Alen :howler:
That was class stuff from Alen as usual.

Apart from Del Piero, who really gave a lot to Juve after we came back from serie B, the guys on my avatar really did a great job and are the ones who deserve most of the praise for our successful 07/08 season and the great half season in 2008/09.

I officially thank them for the great job they've done. I'm proud they're part of Juve.

P.S: Sissoko, Amauri, Trez and Camo were also great. They'll be on my next avatar.
Wonderful

Why do Croatian guys hate us, is it because of our brothers the Servs??
You dont have to be friendly but you could dodge a chance to provoke me once in a while...
It's because Secco is one eighth Greek. ;)

Hows your football in sweden going anyway....what team do you follow again?
What team do you support in England?

Guys, can it or this thread will have to be closed.
Ahh, come on. Most of the abuse is based around Secco. :D

So you are born and bred in Turin?

I have never hidden where my true allegiance lies: Juventus are a minor distraction, compared to Aberdeen.

I was born outside of Parma and moved to the UK at a young age. so what made you follow juventus then? its quite rare that a scot im assuming that you are follows italian football as i have myself quite a few scottish friends and its scottish clubs or nothing. Im only asking cos there are a few people who doesnt support juve and are here to prat around.

I watched Italian football at a pretty young age when it was on channel 4 every Sunday.

I started to like Juventus when I watched them thrash Rangers home and away in the CL group 1995 or so. I started following Juve much more closely during Calciopoli because: 1) I found out how to watch games online; and 2) a mix of loyal superstars and youngsters if far more attractive to me than Capello's Juve was.

Oh, and I don't know what your Scottish friends are like, but most Scots, even those who attend games, understanding of football, especially tactically, is very, very poor.

That's why most Scots are in love with the EPL.

Let's sign you as a Juventus GM. :agree:
Why him exactly when 99% of the forum can do a muuuuuuuuuuuch better job than Sucko?
It's not fair to the other experts.
ya that should be funny :D

@alen why not me? i can do better than 99% of the forum:D

ok let's be realistic. it's a fact that secco did not a good job at his transfers.
1. he overpayed for some of the players
2. only 2 players he bought are now startes (amauri, sissoko) the rest mostly failed or were jsut bought to be squad players.
3. and something that annoys me the most is the let's make a saga out of every transfer...
4. he failed to bring in the wc players that were promised...

soooooooo buuuuuuuuut i am not saying that some other guy would have done much better! first of all we missed the cash and also the cl to get wc players.

1- Who did he overpay? And how do you know the deal could have been sealed at a less amount of money?
2- Which other players that were bought as starters and failed? Tiago and Almiron where Tiago has finally adapted well and is now hopefully a starter. Andrade got injured, whose fault was that?
3- Is it Secco that makes the saga or is it the media?
4- Who promised world class players?

What did we miss?

2. 2 starters is pretty good. Right now we only need 1 CB, which could be taken over by Criscito or Andrade, 2 fullbacks and Nedved's replacement. If Tiago turns out good, that will be 3.

4. If you meant the world-class midfielder, Poulsen fits the bill. He is one of the best DMs in the Spanish league. Or do you mean a player you like instead--a world-class creator?
