he used to handle the extremely prestigious and vital position of telling the 4th referee the name and number of the Juve substitute entering the field..his other duties:

1 - Waterboy
2 - Busboy
2 - Housekeeping
4 - Chauffeur
5 - Capello's punching bag

it is clear to see that he was born to be the future Technical Director of Juventus

Liverpools transfer director Pardy something for example, he isnt really better then Secco ;) I have heard really tearful and frustrated tales of Pool fans I know, of how his incompetence ought a be a crime.

While that's true, we have a little joker named Damien Comolli over at Tottenham Hotspur, who splashed out millions on players and sold two to his biggest rivals. Very smart dealings for some small, pretty much amateur English side. :howler:

Some drunken baseball fan wouldn't be an improvement. Some five year-old wouldn't be an improvement. Somebody who only knows Mandarin wouldn't be an improvement. Somebody named Adolf Hitler probably wouldn't be an improvement either.

But that doesn't make Secco good at what he does. He should be out drinking with Joe the Yankees fan instead.

Sure, I've neve said Secco is any good, but folk are just stupid about it.

Any Sporting Director at a top half Serie A club would be an improvement.

Exactly.

Folk are just lazy and/or stupid when they claim that anyone would be an improvement.
Still think almost anyone would be an improvement over secco. I don't think we're doing much better than teams like tottenham (In the transfer market). We've spent 40 mil euros on players who are not even in the reserve (almiron, criscito, andrade and tiago). We spend 3 whole months to sign a single player like amauri and still overpaying for he's club "22 mil". We lose belardi and get Chimenti :shifty: What's the point of this move !!

At least tottenham got quality players like modric and Pavlyuchenko who can still turn things around (if they sign some decent Defenders and DM's in the winter). The real test for us is this season, let's watch where will secco's brilliant signings will take us....

you wanted to keep Belardi? we gave him to Udinese and got Manninger...thats a great deal IMO

and the jury is still out on Modric and Pavlyuchenko...they have yet to prove themselves in a major European league

But what the point of losing belardi and getting Chimenti as our third choice keeper ? I really believe that they planed to make Chimenti our 2nd choice keeper but after the horrible performance in the friendlies they've decided to go for manninger as our 2nd choice keeper.

As for modric and Pavlyuchenko both are quality players. They just need some time to settle there and prove their worth....
