Can't be anything but very very pleased with what Secco has done in this transfer window, because I honestly never expected to get all of these players.

This mercato has been far better than I expected, especially if Cáceres turns out to be good. We've got ourselves a really complete and competitive team.

Secco's improvement is undeniable but he has to do much more to becoming world class.

Diego is a great signing when you consider price/performance.
Melo is a great buy too but we paid release clause so this is not an achievement for him.

Caceres and Grosso are to cover our weakest positions. if only we had a proper right back it would be 10/10 mercato.

I don't know if we can call this mercato successful, we obviously haven't learned from our mistakes, it's all downhill from here. We still didn't question our weak points and we let Secco once again waste our budget and strengthen our opponents.

Overpaying is not such an issue anymore, since we had enough money to make a critical acquisition (Grosso) without selling a promising player (DC)!!
Even failing to sell (Tiago/Poulsen/Almiron) is not such an issue either, since it didnt affected our strengthening in a critical way!
