That's a Marotta signing in every sense of the word and the fact that no one would complain about it, it is so going to happen.

Depends on the value, but I think Cerci is a decent player.

Of course he's not a top player, but unlike others, I never thought we had a chance to land some. Cerci on the other hand is realistic.

    I wouldn't pay 10m. fuck it, I wouldn't take him for free, just slap some sense into Berardi and bring him here. They say he wanted to stay at Sassuolo another year.

    I added more.

    He's a Lazio/viola type player.
    Based on what? He had a great season. It might be one season where he was great, but same can be said abour Berardi.

    If there are better options I'm all ears. But IMO Isco, Griezmann are unrealistic.

    And I'd actually consider Berardi, but I'm not sure I'd have balls to rely on him as our main signing.

    I think he's a big fish in small pond. Only had that one year and before that or with the NT he's close to invisible. Wouldn't take Candreva either.

    :agree: Fuck em both. @Mark is a real guru who knows his shit. Why the fuck should we go from Iturbe (a promising young talent) to this sack of shit or that other over-sized turd Candreva. It's a fucking contradiction.

    The Italian National team is absolutely pathetic now, and we're slowly but surely trying to improve our team by buying players who couldn't even make the starting XI for a squad that's been dumped out of the group stages twice in a row :lol:

    If we're so obsessed with playing Italians, how about we try to develop and use the next generation of talents instead of spending all of our cash on fucking mediocrity and hoping for the best

    Now, i'll admit 6 months ago when we were linked to Cerci I myself did say I'd be fine with it if it meant getting away from 3-5-2 from time to time. ONLY, if it was a deal like Giovinco/Ogbonna + some cash as we really had no need for those players. But not for one second do I want us to spend big cash on fucking Cerci and hope he somehow transforms our team.

    @Cronios will love this post.

    Cerci coul be a very useful player to our team, he can play in the 3-5-2 and 4-3-3, probably 4-3-1-2 as well (the formation everyone seems certain we will be playing with the only confirmation being fantasy lineups of shitty newspapers).
    His ability in counterattack is something that could prove particularly interesting, depending on how much our new coach will change the tactical setup.

    It all depends on the price however, and as with Candreva I'm expecting the selling clubs demands to be way too high.
