If we are planning to use a 4-3-3 then he will be useful, but it's much better at this stage to take a risk with younger potential that has the room to grow and improve both our team and asset value. Cerci can really only improve because he would be joining a much better team and great exposure, but he doesn't have the room to grow far beyond his current level.
He'd make something of an immediate impact, but it's short term thinking. We seem to be doing quite a bit of that currently, like we are consolidating a season.

Dat dere mediocrity with a fat contract that threatens to turn into a leechfuck is exactly what is needed to make that push in Europe.
The Italian National team is absolutely pathetic now, and we're slowly but surely trying to improve our team by buying players who couldn't even make the starting XI for a squad that's been dumped out of the group stages twice in a row 
If we're so obsessed with playing Italians, how about we try to develop and use the next generation of talents instead of spending all of our cash on fucking mediocrity and hoping for the best
Now, i'll admit 6 months ago when we were linked to Cerci I myself did say I'd be fine with it if it meant getting away from 3-5-2 from time to time. ONLY, if it was a deal like Giovinco/Ogbonna + some cash as we really had no need for those players. But not for one second do I want us to spend big cash on fucking Cerci and hope he somehow transforms our team.
