If we are planning to use a 4-3-3 then he will be useful, but it's much better at this stage to take a risk with younger potential that has the room to grow and improve both our team and asset value. Cerci can really only improve because he would be joining a much better team and great exposure, but he doesn't have the room to grow far beyond his current level.
He'd make something of an immediate impact, but it's short term thinking. We seem to be doing quite a bit of that currently, like we are consolidating a season.
