Yeah if you go by the 5/10 min he show glimpses of his old self, but not when can't breath after the 50 min.

I don't know what's the fascination with really really old players who are way past their best. And please don't say Pirlo, he still 32 not 56 like Seedorf.

Del Piero is 37, should we not renew his contract because he is old?

And I am not comparing Seedorf to Del Piero, so don't bring up the he is the club legend-argument.

Del Piero is a club legend, THE club legend. That alone is a reason to renew his contract regardless of how he performs next season.

    Seedorf? fu*k No!

Yeah let's compare Seedorf to Del piero

Del piero is still better than Seedorf and he performed at the highest levels whenever he was called upon not like Grandpa Nesta who who can't play for 90 min or Seedorf who just can't breath past the 60 minute.

Why don't we sign Totti while we are at it too ??

Funny how I said "I am not comparing Seedorf to Del Piero" and you ignored it.

Grandpa Nesta owned Messi, mind you. He is still good enough. No one expects any of them to become starters here.

    Totti is still class :D

Nesta might be very good on a short term basis, putting in 15 games a season. A shrewd bit of business.

Seedorf? Fuck No! We should purchase Asamoah, and allow Marrone some playing time too. "Kids" his age are getting regular minutes not only in Holland, Germany and France, but in England and Spain as well.

Grandpa Nesta is the only player in Europe this season who totally stopped Messi, on his own.

I don't know how concrete the rumors are but Nesta would be a decent signing. And I personally don't think Seedorf would be bad either.

We won't play Barça every game, Still he's too much of an injury prone, and i don't want shor terms solutions, we should upgrade and invest for the future, not look to a player who'll play one year with us and next summer we'll be looking again for a CB.
