Let's face it, none of our 2012/2013 strikers should be in the team. Well, maybe Vucinic, but only as a sub. Still, for an offer of 15 and above, we should sell him too. But there's just no way we can replace our entire attack for 1 transfer campaign. Right now we have 6 strikers. The best case scenario is we sell Giovinco and one of Matri/Quag and bring in Jovetic. That way we'll have Tevez, Llorente, Jovetic, Matri/Quag, Vucinic. Solid starters, good enough subs.
The thing is, Matri is said to be a target man but he's rather poor at that too. He is said to be one of those old-fashioned strikers whose only job is to put te ball into the net with brutal force, strong headers and a killing instinct. But Matri is neither. He brings almost nothing to the table, but Giaccherini-esque work. Trying, wanting, but not delivering. So if there's an offer of at least 10 million for Matri, I would gladly sell him and keep Quag.

Stil, i think that the ones staying sgould be Mirko, because he has good technique and holds the ball well, and quags because when fire up he is unstoppable. Those 2 are perfect subs for llorente and tevez.
Bender,anelka,matri and giovinco need to be sold. Well im pretty sure gio will stay but he should be used as something more than a striker..... something like a winger or some sort, or used in a 433 or something.

Matri > quag. Matri is also a year younger and is never injuried with quag you have the risk of him having amajor injury. However anyone can get injuried all in all though. Quag wants to start and he simply wont while Matri will enjoy playing 20-25 games a season as long as he can contribute towards winning something unlike quag who seems as he is doing everything for himself
Never seen his stats, only all of his games since he has joined us. And apart from the 2011 loan spell, he has been very indecisive. I can remember the game against Cagliari this winter when he scored 2 goals and won us that match, sure. He has had some good matches.But I do not rate him as someone who if given 2 clear chances, would score at least 1 of them. He has been so frustrating almost all the time and I can't really see Juventus depending on him to score goals. And that is what is supposed to be expected of a Juventus ST, right ? When he has to step in, even as a sub, can we expect him to be decisive or are we just gonna hope his shoe falls off so he can score a clear chance
Matri makes more sense for us than Quag. He's a true CF, a bigger player than Quag, who can sub in for Llorente, for which we have no sub. He moves well without the ball. He is good in a counter attack style, which adds versatility to our play. He is younger and unselfish. He has good work rate and doesn't complain.
He's a better sub than Quag IMO. I think it's possible that Quag is a better starter (more natural talent, flair, creativity, finishing) than Matri but if he's your starter, your ambitions are not huge. I like Quag but if I had to choose, I pick Matri.

And @baggio I appreciate Quag and what he's done, but we have other players that are similar, but as MikeM correctly pointed out, if we let Matri go, we have no real substitute for Llorente.
