I would like to see him start next game. We look better with him on.
Me too. He adds alot more than Quag. I know that some of you will attack this post, but I don't really care, because those of you who do don't understand football and the fact that there's more to a striker's involvement than just scoring goals. Matri is a better striker than Quag. Period. Adds much more to our attacking play.

Adds a new dimension to our attack.

That control was just so difficult, he was running, ball behind him and couldn't see it up to the last second. Would've prefered if he tried to strike it wihout controlling in it

I agree. His runs are top class. If only he could finish better or have a better first touch.

But Matri on form is our most dangerous striker, no denying that.

I actually thought Quag did more than him in today's game. Matri's movement was definitely better, but given that he is on the end of his movement, it added nothing. He touched the ball, like twice in the 30 mins that he played at no point galvanising our play. Quag got more stuck in, but a lot of our analyses come down to who these two players are paired with. I feel like Quag is a better player when we play to feet, and Matri is a me dangerous option when playing long, or more importantly, alongside somebody wi Gio's characteristics. Vucinic and Quag will make a really good combo IMO.
