He didn't score on the last three matches he started in December (Cesena, Roma and Udinese). We are really making a big drama out of this. Every single striker can go on a 3 match goalless streak. Today he scored and stopped the bad mini series.

The bitching and moaning is ridiculous, but not at all surprising. I do want a WC, reliable 20 + goal striker to come here, but Im happy to have Matri in our ranks.

It was the same thing at Cagliari. He formed a brilliant partnership with Cossu who assisted him with many goals. As long as he has someone next to him to create (Vucinic this season, DP last season) he'll keep scoring. A poor man's Trez, but much better than the other dross we had masquerading as strikers the past few seasons.
