You know me as much as I know you.
Why don't you just put me, Vinni, and others who don't share your optimism on ignore? Not all can be such a great fan like you, you know.

Give me a quality signing, and I'll be encouraged, like I was with Krasic.

I wouldn't call Krasic a quality signing just yet. He exploded in the first few games, but for the past few weeks, he's been too inconsistent, and even though I don't think he'a Diego all over again. I'm not convinced he's the solution to our problems.

He's exactly another Diego... when it comes to being closed down on the pitch. Serie A defenses send multiple players to handle him, yet his teammates can't find any extra space to work with. That's a flaw we need to address.

People were killing me when I said that members around here compares him to Nedved and overrates him in that matter.

The Nedved comparison is a natural occurrence though. Looks like him, has an enormous amount of drive, and has a good amount of technical ability. He's got a lot of potential but whether he becomes world class like Nedved is yet to be determined. We'll see.

Yeah, why not.
But already claming he is as good as Nedved is frickin stupid. Just because he has been our best players doesn't mean he is the best player in the world. He needs to learn a few things from Neddy.

That pattern will repeat itself a million times. It's what you get when you lack quality in general, you need to give it time atleast. I tend to think that Diego would've performed better if he had been kept. It's a problem that we are/were so reliable on Krasic.

I don't think it's a coincidence that once Quagliarella got injured, teams began to find it easier to contain Krasic.

True that, but it must be said that Krasic had a better first few months to his Juve career than Pavel. So optimism was high.

No doubt about all of that. Krasic isn't superhuman and can beat two or three defenders all the time. Nobody can, really. So the flaw isn't as much Krasic as it is the system and the team. I think that's pretty clear.

Krasic has already done three times as much as Diego ever did.
Not sure where that number comes from, but Diego had a pretty good first two months to his Juve career. When November came around he began to get closed down by two defenders, constantly, and that's when it all went downhill. Krasic is the better player, but there are similarities in how the two have performed overtime.

Anybody can throw out numbers that don't have any meaning.

That's true, considering Quag offers more movement. But defenses have done a better job of making sure they have a second defender close to the first on the Serb.

I think Krasic is a talented player, but sometimes he just does inexplicably stupid things. He dives for no reason at times. He drifts to the center and completely disrupts our passage of play, and he's kind of predictable on the wings at times. If Del Piero had Krasic's speed; he's be ripping every defender apart every single time. It's hard to explain, but sometimes it just takes a player a certain amount of intelligence to get around his marker. Krasic relies too much on his pace, and doesn't like to be creative going forward.

I agree that his teammates have a lot to do with how he plays but I don't think his game is flawless either.

I am not saying anything on being a great fan or the likes, you brought this up. I was just wondering why you would never hope for a player to do well, you have already made up your mind and you just want to wait and see if you were right or wrong. It was just a mere question. And I was not talking about encouragement, I was just asking you for once to hope for something good. The striker scored two goals, hope he continues and proves you wrong.

I would never put you nor Vinman on my ignore list because regardless of the difference in opinion, I still enjoy reading your posts.

Of course we hope a player does well for the team. That goes without saying. Just because it isn't said constantly doesn't mean one wishes the opposite, same if we don't agree with a transfer. :rolleyes2

We've been over this before. I don't know why you keep bringing it up.

Because you never say it. You've also criticized each and every transfer before, why do you keep bringing it up? ;)
