I don't know wtf happened, but half that second half it seemed I was watching Matri hold up the ball in the Fiorentina end, surrounded by four Fiorentina defenders, and without a single teammate in view.

Everybody else was exhausted.

His best quality, IMO, is his positioning. Don't get me wrong, he's a cool finisher, but it's his great understanding of the game and sense of positioning that gets him into all those goalscoring-positions. Some of them, he misses, and some of them, he puts away.

All in all a very good striker that I'm so glad that we have.

When i said yesterday that somehow he is always on the scoresheet.... i wrote that with Trezeguet in mind.

He remembers me Trez not only because of goals...but because he seems to be in right moment almost always... and even when trezeguet was a baddie at holding the ball and creating.... it was no coincidence that he was a lethal finisher and his positioning was top notch.

I see in Matri the same goalscoring instinct..... but he has a little more when it comes to have the ball on his feet, which is was Trez lacked and because of that in most games when he was not scoring...he was totally MIA.

If he keeps it up, he can write a chapter of his own.

Yeh, but IMO is not about matching tre´s numbers,,,, as it is almost impossible. But about giving his best in the time he spends in juventus.

Im pretty sure that if he keeps this goal ratio in 3 years or so.... his number will get epic proportions, even when they will be not in trez´s league.

Yeah, a similar goal ratio would be very nice, especially if we were to get into the CL and he could still do it.
