You can use him as a trequartista in a 3-5-1-1 or a similar formation, or you could deploy him as the regista in a 3-5-2 if you wanna give Pirlo a rest. In a crisis-situation you could also play him upfront as a SS. No matter what, Diamanti will always give 110 % and he can also be pretty explosive at times. You also know he will be hungry for success. After winning the scudetto 2 years in a row, it's important to get a couple of guys on board who would do whatever it takes to win the title.
