Arseshavin never established himself outside. You have examples like Ivanovic and Vidic who are CBs which is different roles. Even less so with russian nationalities.

Indeed. You misunderstand my point. None should buy a player based on just a few performances. We've had scouts for Golovin in Russia with CSKA. I doubt many of the newly interested parties have had such. To me it just seems like Chelsea and the likes a jumping on the hype train. Abramovich has probably just seen him twice now and want's to buy since he's Russian..
