Lots of confusing news regarding this guy, one day he is close to being a done deal then after that he is suddenly not a priority for us then next day we slightly increase our offer and get refused while today another rumour claiming we are close to a deal again, tbf this rumours can't get more unreliable than this, seems more like journalists being bored and making assumptions based on the same rumoured interest that emerged since last month.

IMO that most likely negotiations with CSKA have been on stand by ever since the WC started, and will stay that way up untill Russia eventually get knocked out.

Imo we will ramp up negotiations for him next week or so (when Russia are knocked out of the World Cup) I expect this one to be sorted out pretty quickly tbh.

Then the sales will happen :baus;

We already have Berna so we don't need Golovin.
Bernard is classified as a winger and he barely coped playing at his actual position this year...
Eventually he will become the Cuadrado successor and again we would need some depth, all of our CMs are mostly defensive orientated.
Berna and Dcosta will replace Mandzu and Cuads.we have could penetration skills on the wings, but not someone to connect the midfield with the attack in the center.
IMO, we have plenty of tools for every role, except that
Berna and Dybala failed to deliver in this role and Pjaca is a promise that fades.
Golovin would be a tool for this certain tactical need and if it goes well, we will become more efficient as a team on the ocassions we struggle to capitalize our dominance.
