The good thing about World Cup is tomorrow somebody else will shine and then Golovin will be somewhat forgotten.

Truth. It's only the first of 64 games and one in which the quality on display was some of the worst it will be through the tournament.

To be fair I honestly doubt that something like this really alerts big clubs to a player like Golovin. Sure, it alerts fans and casual viewers who aren't familiar with the Russian league but I'm sure most of Europe's top clubs are already plenty aware of him (they have extensive scouting networks for this sort of shit and he's not an unknown teenager) and aren't getting hard ons over a game against the Saudis.

There may be a lot more press about him but I really doubt Manchester clubs are readying up to get in a bidding war with us over this performance.

What about him? I admit he's seen Golovin playing much more than me.
Welp. I ain't gonna ad hominem this Adam Summerton, but his opinion is redundant: we've been interested in Golovin before the match against Sauron Arabia and "Not sure he has Juve mentality"; what does that even mean?

He lives in London where Arsenal have been linked with Golovin since fall. He's just bitter to see us rival Arsenal, calling the player not good enough or whatever

Watch Golovin get signed for ~35m by Everton and Beppe: "we don't enter bidding wars", proceeds to sign Pellegrini for 30m :howler:
Hahaha i can see this happening, anyway no fucking way Cska was selling him before wc,why would they sell him before wc ??
And it’s just a game,against Arabia .

Btw he reminds me this guy

And that's key, young star with a large audience in Russia and suddenly way more popular all over the world, his quality didn't suddenly change, but his overall worth increased significantly

Corsport:

There's a €5m difference between Juve's offer and CSKA's request, in the negotiations for Golovin. CSKA are seeing if they can raise his price further, during the course of the World Cup

It's funny how triggered every one is getting after watching, probably for the first time, a player play 90 mins , against possibly serie b or even c level opposition
