Juventus youngster Albin Ekdal is hoping to secure a loan move to build up his first-team experience after being linked with Siena.
Ekdal joined Juve last summer and is tipped for a bright future with the Turin giants after making three appearances in Serie A last season.
The Sweden Under-21 international, who has been likened to former Arsenal midfielder Freddie Ljungberg, is keen to play more regularly this term.
Siena are reportedly hoping to sign the 19-year-old on loan and Ekdal is eager to kick-start his career in Italian football.
"I want to get some playing time now," Ekdal told Expressen.
"I want to establish myself in Serie A and get started with everything.
"In the long term, I want to return to Juventus."
