Not sure if he is that talented or how big of a talent he is, considering the fact he isnt hyped that much in sweden big talents wise, or has shown that much.

But its allways a good sign to sign good talents, and if its true all those top teams wanted him, they must see something in him (but most likely, like many of swedens youths who go to top clubs youth teams, he wont make it).

And its a longshot, but if I was an excited youngster who just got the move of his life, I would be reading news sites/forums of the transfers, so I'm guessing Albin is reading this thread ;) :D Välkommen till la bella Juve :spliff:

idk if anyone post this but on wikipedia it says this

Albin Ekdal started his professional playing career with his boyhood heroes IF Brommapojkarna at the beginning of the 2007 Allsvenskan season. Due to his footballing ability and good looks he has became a popular player at IF Brommapojkarna, although some lengthy injuries have limited his first team oppurtunities this season. The Swedish media have stated that Ekdal is the biggest Scandinavian footballing prospect since Kim Källström.

[edit] Chelsea Interest
In 2005 Albin Ekdal had trials with English Premiership club Chelsea FCat the age of 15. He impressed during his trial and was offered a contract but he surprisingly turned down the offer as he felt he still had a lot of maturing as a footballer to do at IF Brommapojkarna.

[edit] Inter Milan Interest
It has been widely reported in the Swedish media that Italian giants Internazionale have been keeping a close eye on Ekdal and have sent scouts to watch him play in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

===Swede starlet set for Juve=== Eurosport | Wed, Dec 12, 11:32 Brommapojkarna teenager Albin Ekdal is set to join Juventus, club director Ola Danhard confirms. "A few details remain but I am not worried. Ekdal will stay with us until next spring to graduate. We are proud of him and happy that he has an opportunity to play in one of Europe's biggest clubs."

idk how much you can trust wikipedia but, here is the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albin_Ekdal

Haha, that's so true.

Also I would like to point out that despite the negative tone in my previous post, I wish him nothing but major success in Juve and hopefully for our NT in the future.

I have the Dn newspaper & there is a whole page about Albin. He is excited about this but he is also very realistic. His father is also realistic & says nothing is concrete as Albin will undergo an operation on his right foot. Before the contract goes ahead he has to attend a physical checkup in Turin.
I hope he joins Juve & becomes big. Goodluck Albin.
