I am positive there are no compilations whatsoever. This isn't a wonder kid by any means. He has the potential to be a solid player, but that's probably it. Actually I'm not gonna say too much given that the kid hasn't even made a full season with first team football from what I know, so there really isn't enough material to work with in order to make a fair assessment of his ability. Let's just wait and see.

I'll do the short translation of the interview:

*He hasn't signed a contract yet but isn't worried. Juve wanted to make sure his surgery went fine and it did.

*Juve showed patience and gave him the impression that they believe in him.

*He has been in Turin a couple of times now and already noticed that Del Piero = God.

*If everything goes smoothly he'll start training with Juve first team by the end of July.

IMO Ekdal seems like a useless transfer, he hasn't particulary impressed in a very weak league in a club not even in first division so i am absolutely baffled by the way how we took time to sign him but hey as XsemprejuveX said u never know, i'd probably have more chances of winning the lottery than seing Ekdal not being loaned next year let alone star for us.

Old Lady Capture Sweden Star

Juventus have already pounced in the transfer market by signing Sweden international Albin Ekdal.

The Bianconeri swooped for the up-and-coming 17-year-old and they have signed him on a four year deal for an un-disclosed fee.

The midfielder arrives from Brommapojkarna who play in Sweden’s first division and he was delighted at having signed for the Old Lady.

“I am happy and proud to have a chance of wearing the Juventus jersey,” said Ekdal.

“It will be an important experience for me and for my own development as a player.

“I will have the chance to play and train alongside some great players and I cannot wait to start.”

Juventus transfer guru Alessio Secco also had a few words on Juve’s first signing of the transfer campaign.

“Albin is a very promising young player and his purchase bares testimony to our policy of investing in youth,” said Secco.

“He will be an important player who will play a role in building Juventus’ future.”

Ekdal will be hoping he can break into Claudio Ranieri’s first team but it will be difficult given the quality and experience of the current starting XI.

The player turns 18 in July and thus he will be able to player from the start of next season.
