Lets see you say Chelsea are offering 37M pounds and Gila costs 25M$ and considering that Cassano is a free agent next year if he doesn`t extend his contract I say lets do this:
1)We Sell Trez 37M pounds is like 50M$
2)We buy Gilardino for less than 25M$ by offering Miccoli which doesn`t want to play with us anyway and we have DP which is the same type of player of Miccoli not forgetting we also have Mutu+we offer Blasi or something like him so lets say we offer 12M$+Miccoli+Blasi+some young player (co ownership or full ownership) maybe even Chiellini and we get Gilardino
that means we are getting a profit of 38M$ which we can buy Vieira Gerrard Pizzaro or other high calibre midfielder my favourite to this spot is Gerrard unless we can buy an attacking midfielder like Totti or Ronaldinho which is very unlikely and almost impossible

by the way I haven`t seen much of Gilardino matches in fact I have just seen 1 or 2 and I didn`t see why all of the world is getting so crazy because of him but again it might be because I have seen him in his bad days or because it was a long time ago...
anyway a subtitute for Trez will be very welcome as his only ability is to shoot and head (but I have to admit he is the best in those things)
nice plan:D

We can get Gila only if we sell Trez. Even if Trez is an important player for us I would sell him for such a lot of money because Trez is often injured and from that money we could buy Gilardino. He is much younger and would cost less than what we get for Trezeguet.

20mil+Miccoli+Blasi+someone else(like Tudor) is a very good offer for Parma,
they got 3starters for every line and 20mil to buy 3-4 others,
they wouldnt deny that!
You really think Parma with there debts want to have 3 potential high earners on their wage bill, no they wont. They want a b big fat cheque for him.

Vieri Paves Wave For Gilardino To Juve?

With Bobo’s transfer to Milan, Gilardino may now be on his way to Turin.
The twist in the Vieri case has opened new scenarios for the Italian transfer market. Milan already have Shevchenko, Inzaghi, Tomasson and now Vieri upfront, therefore they could theoretically give up on signing Alberto Gilardino.

If this is the case, then the Parma striker would only have a few options left, some of which are less viable than others. A move abroad can already be ruled out; therefore the only contenders for his signature are Inter and Juventus.

The Nerazzurri are in the driver’s seat, however Luciano Moggi may be using Cassano as a smokescreen for the arrival of Gilardino. Milan cannot be completely ruled out, as the sale of Tomasson or Inzaghi could bring in the much needed cash for the purchase of the young striker.

its working out perfectly for juve.
vieri wud not have gone to milan had he not been given assurances that tht he wont have to play second fiddle to gilardino and sheva.
milan are out of it simply coz they've signed vieri.

inter are the 'player cementery'..
milan have signed vieri..and i repeat..he is desperate for action..so he wud not have signed had he been given assurances that he wont have to play 2nd fiddle to gilardino and sheva.

Honestly, this doesnt mean anything. Im pretty sure Vieri has been signed as a replacement for Crespo. And i can see Tomasson on his way out. So that would still leave the possibility of Milan moving for Gila. Gila, Vieri, Shevchenko and Inzaghi is still possible imo.

Im pretty certain Juve wont sign Gila. We'll end up keeping Trez instead.

No i dont, im just saying in case Parma's new owners take care of the debts and go for players like those mentioned before,
players who could help them to build a competitive team,
then we can compete Inter's offer of three players+cash,
i agree Parma wants cash and we sould get sure noone gets him less than 35mil euros, selling Treze and making a transfer bid there would be a killer,
Milan or Inter wouldnt offer more,
only chelsea can cope with that but not after they get Treze
