1. Im pretty sure Roma wont let Cassano go on a free. Something is better than nothing, and they will settle for a cash deal with us or Madrid this summer.

2. Trez isnt the only guy who could determine Crespo's future, given Chelsea's interest in almost every top striker in Europe, and I wouldnt be surprised if they let go of Crespo only to replace him with another Milan target, Ronaldo.

3. Moggi according to me isnt going to make any acquisitions till the end of this month, just to see how the market shapes up, with all the current situations. Chelsea on the other hand, will have wrapped up their striker by then, and that could include, yes, Trezeguet. But it really is up to Chelsea to take the initiative from hereon in, not Moggi.

Chelsea can shake or break a lot of things this summer. But if Trezegoal does get sold off and Crespo stays with milan Gilas chances of coming to the Old Lady increases considerbly.. and our attack will be illist in the world....

Gilardino closer to Milan Saturday 2 July, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The apparent failure of Parma’s takeover bid could have jump-started Alberto Gilardino’s long-awaited move to Milan.

It was believed that the new owners – Swiss Internet company Ticino Holding – would aim to keep hold of their star striker in order to build a new winning era.

However, the proposed takeover did not go through on Friday and the club is plunged back into uncertainty.

“I have said from the start that if I take charge of the club then none of our stars will leave,” said potential new owner Gaetano Valenza.

“That includes Gilardino. However, the current set-up has already loaned Sebastien Frey out to Fiorentina without telling me. If they want to sell Gilardino, then the consequences will be on their heads.”

The need for ready cash could therefore push them into accepting the Rossoneri’s offer for Gilardino, even if it falls below the £25m price-tag.

Other reports in the Corriere dello Sport-Stadio have also suggested that Chelsea have dived back in with a £34.5m bid, but the player has made it perfectly clear he wants to join the San Siro outfit.

“There is no news yet, but everything revolves around the takeover bid,” explained Gilardino’s agent Ciccio Romano.

New claims in Italy state that the key to completing this switch is to hand Pippo Inzaghi over to Parma. It would be a return to the Stadio Tardini for the striker, who has already played for the team in 1995-96, scoring two goals in 15 appearances.

it seems.....no Gila no Cassano....and may be we will buy a mid....Forz Juve

this is the problem, players like gilardino and many otehrs will be gone by the time moggi starts putting pen to paper. how many times have juve missed on a good player due to moggi waiting.

players like gerrard, gilardino, cassano, chivu, robinho and many more wont wait around for moggi to try and lower their price. if they are the targets moggi wants, he has to come out now and start dealing.

if sold trezeguet and gilardino didnt replace him, id be devastated.

Juve dont need neither gila or cassano , we have a very good attacking force , we need some creativity in midfield , thats it

we wont get creativity in midfield unless we sell a player to generate funds. and in saying that, if we were to sell trez, we could bring in creativity as well as a striker who plays for most of the season.

Inter In For Gilardino?
7/4/2005 8:26:00 AM
The Director of Sports of Parma also hinted that there is still a chance that the Italian striker does not leave the club this summer.
Oreste Cinquini spoke about the situation concerning Alberto Gilardino which is still not solved. The player wants to leave the club and the Gialloblu are ready to let him go for a substantial offer, but a new Parma owner might block the transfer.

“If an important owner arrives, then maybe it might be decided to hold on to Gilardino, even though the Parma officials right now are trying to give a future to the club through the player’s transfer.”

Surprisingly enough, Cinquini stated that also Inter are in the run to sign the highly-rated striker.

“I spoke a few times with Mister Moratti, with whom I have a good relationship, and we spoke about Gialrdino, who is a sought-after champion by big clubs, and Inter is a big club. With Galliani there was a positive meeting, after which Galliani gave us the go-ahead to negotiate with other clubs.”

Following Vieri’s release, Inter might now have the necessary resources to lure Gilardino to their club.
