Strange how someone would celebrate a goal that dramatically when it was only a leveller in a must-win game and knowing he’d brought the ball down with his arm.

I don't think he purposely thought to control the ball with it. It seemed more accidental after being held by the Venezia defender and the ball coming down at height.

It was a brilliant shot, a shame it didn't count.

I thought he had an okay game. Easily the best of our 3 defenders in the first half but I agree that it wasn't worth risking him on a yellow. His clearances and overall lack of composure when getting rid of the ball from he back was poor. Too often he turned it over needlessly or in dangerous areas.

You seem to be biased against this guy for no good reason. I was pissed at him after his horrendous miss vs Bologna, but he’s done very well in the games that followed.
He was partly at fault for Venezia's first goal, and also gave the ball away on a clearance that led to a better chance for them as well. He was just as bad as Kelly defensively.

I agree that he didn’t, I don’t think he was even looking at the ball at the time. However, in the modern day when you know the ball made any contact with your arm before you shoot, it’s almost guaranteed to be ruled out.

He’d be a useful back-up RB if we keep with a back 4 next season, however we also have Savona who could fill that slot and we don’t need two back up RBs (3 if we add Weah to the equation!) and no starter, so we’re struggling.
