I would like to pose a question, adn this is the perfect place to do it, because this is the hot spot as of right now.

I would like objectivity and honesty.

#1) Is this midfield,where there was a lack of spark and creativity a lot better than it was only 48 hours ago?

#2) Is this team a younger, more athletic, quicker , and deeper squad than it was a year ago.

#3) Have there been significant gains in the transfer market , with only minimal losses?

#4) If Marotta were to acquire a quality left back and 4th CB (and don't say that he can't, because he did just acquire 2 mids in 48 hours), would you say, when looking at the roster compared to last year, on paper of course, that this is certainly a better team, with the types of players that will fit the system that the coach is looking for?

i can answer you this 4 question by only one simple word.. a BIG YES from being called the oldest team in serie A last year to being a youngest team in serie A..

Sorry, but Pepe, Lanzafame, Martinez, and Motta aren't any improvement IMO. Bonucci hopefully will be, and so will Aquilani, but overall we mostly replaced mediocrity with mediocrity.

One signing doesn't change that. It's like Aquilani is freaking Messi or something around here.

1. Krasic ,Aquilani gives us needed creativity no doubt, finally Diego has some players who can help him...

4. if we get a Lb and a CB then I would be lyrical. Especially if the LB was a good one:xfinger: Tremoulinas or even Maxwell would be ok..

#3) Depends on what you call minimal losses. 12 millions for Martinez is quite a loss of money. Losing Giovinco wasn't good either. Of course there has been some good signings too.

Who cares about that? the fact is they brought in Pepe, Motta, and Aquilani in here on a no lose situation. If they work out, great, if they don't then back to their teams they go, and they start over agian, where there will hopefully be a larger transfer budget next year.

The monies paid out for the first year of these payments are minimal.

A lot of people here had some unrealistic expectations that all of the problems could be solved in one transfer campaign, but you know what? If a new LB and 4th CB come on board, then they came pretty damn close. No other team besides a Barca, RM, Inter, or Chelsea could do that.

In general I agree with most of the things you discussed about Juve lately. But I want to ask you what did you mean by YES and NO when you answered Sergio's second question?

Was the NO for the depth or for the "younger, quicker, more athletic"?

I think that we are indeed younger, quicker and more athletic, with "quicker" being the most important thing here. We were so slow and we moved pathetically last year. I think that this team has more speed and, hopefully, with time it will learn to move smartly on the pitch.
Looking from that aspect I think there is improvement.

In many other fields we need drastic improvement though if we want to get back among Euro top 10.
