Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani's move to Juventus cancelled.

Roy Hodgson intimated last night that the former Roma youngster was likely to go back to Italy temporarily.

Juventus have been in the market for a ball-playing central midfielder all summer, but attention has so far focused on Lazio's Cristian Ledesma.

Juventus had finally found an agreement with Liverpool for Aquilani which was supposed to take the Italian to Turin. All our wingers play both sides so it didn't matter if we sign a left or right winger.

Because simply 3 players aren't enough for 3 competitions. He'll miss many matches so it's not like it's gonna be over-crowded.

He is exactly what they need on this team, and to be quite honest, I personally can live with a platoon of Pepe and Lanzafame as the left wingers if the ohter three are Krasic, Marchisio, and Aquilani.
