I don't agree, I think Aquilani has not been used properly. He is pretty much a "regista", but he had to do defensive midfielders work too, since Melo is not capable of being a DM because of his recklessness and nonexistent positioning sense. A lack of a defensive midfielder is one of the problems of this squad, I believe that with a proper DM next to him Aquilani would play better.
But I do agree that Aquilani is a wuss..
