The Aquilani train has probably left the station, unless something dramatic happens like an injury or Del Pie nailing his lady. I can accept that as a mistake of the past regime.

What I could never accept, is being a little bitch from Latvia.

Back off, you can't argue against any of my statements about Pool and EPL, you know they're all true :agree:

Our fans aren't all fags, we can win the EL and can still finish 4th.
True, every multi-million group has it's exceptions, but a significant part of them are. With your current coach you probably can't win EL and if you finish fourth the only shot at a trophy you may have next season is Carling Cup, which is hardly an important trophy. In the nearest future I'd surely choose Juventus over Liverpool if I had to say which side will qualify for CL or which one will sooner win league/cl.

It all depends on who we get to replace Hodgson at the end of the season. And we'd still have a shot at the FA Cup and even maybe be competitive in the league with the right man in charge.

We can still win the EL this season, its the only competition we've been competitive in.

Good luck with that.

They were special. At least that period is behind you. Out of all the EPL clubs(aside from Sunderland) I'd have to say I dislike Pool the least.

Either way I hope the new owners come good on their promises so it will make the PL even better to watch. Especially from a neutral's point of view.

He's said he wants to stay and as long as he keeps playing well he should. He's one piece of the puzzle we really can't do without, especially after having him for a whole season. We'd be lost again.
why would anyone care for sunderland?

No chance Liverpool have any "recall clause". Aquilani was meant to be a key component of our midfield and Marotta doesn't strike me as an idiot to the extent of allowing for the possibility of being deprived mid-season. Not to mention recall clauses and buyout clauses don't exactly mesh well from any logical perspective.

Aquilani has always stressed his desire to remain in Italy, especially now he's back in the Italy fold. I doubt Liverpool will see him again unless we meet them in the Champions League in 2013-2014 Season.
