Aquilani himself fears that his price tag will be a problem for juve. But lets see it this way: Juventus made a move to prove the player in hopes of him delivering. Now he has delivered and the experiment was a success. I dont think they will let him go after what he has done, because why to try this loan in first place i u are not going to buy him in case of succes?.

I think Juve should invest in him. We have wasted much more money in unproven players who has failed us.

Marotta is a genius.

16m over three years.

Sock it to me, sock it to me.

Kinda feel bad for pool fans though after reading a few pages off that forum. Still though, as long as he can keep it up, he should be the first one we do sign on a permanent basis. Out of all the loans that is.

It's more Hodgson's bias against foreign players than it is Marotta's genius. Pretty much the reason Hodgson has been demoted from Manager position.

Yea, I also think it was in part because Hodgson wanted to 'make his own Liverpool', coupled with the fact that at times last year Aquilani was labeled a bust and a bad buy from Rafa.

But it could have had a lot to do with the will of the player also. I recall him saying that when he knew Juve were in for him he couldn't refuse or something along those lines.

Also, remember at that time we were owned by two jack offs who also sent Insua to Turkey and tried to ship Lucas to Palermo.

He said he wanted to stay at Liverpool all summer and was hoping to impress Hodgson. He impressed everyone during the pre-season, but then old Roy shipped him off last minute. It just happens that Juve were one of the few teams he would accept a loan to.

Hodgson who managed to drive a less than average epl team to the EL and almost won it and he taught us a lesson on his way. Suddenly became an idiot ?

I don't think so, he is a good coach, the problem was the team after the summer sales was unbalanced and now it started to shape up and you could see the improvement in Liverpool in the next games to come.

He's always been crap at top teams and has only won a major award in Scandinavia. His away tactics are retarded and his transfer choices suspect.

I'd much rather have a manager that's willing to adapt with the game rather than one who expects the game to adapt to him. Add in his interaction with the media and glad handing with Fergi, which I find rather disgusting.

As much as I like Liverpool, fuck them. Aquilani's staying put.

They made him feel like a reject anyways, I don't see why he'd want to go back.

Don't act like we were any good last year.

DC United could have "taught us a lesson." Anybody could have.

Hodgson isn't that great.

They were special. At least that period is behind you. Out of all the EPL clubs(aside from Sunderland) I'd have to say I dislike Pool the least.

Either way I hope the new owners come good on their promises so it will make the PL even better to watch. Especially from a neutral's point of view.

He's said he wants to stay and as long as he keeps playing well he should. He's one piece of the puzzle we really can't do without, especially after having him for a whole season. We'd be lost again.

Liverpool + EPL = much more physical football, crappy food and weather, no chance for trophies and bunch of fags instead of fans. I wouldn't go there if I were Aquilani, he'll probably fuck up his career if he returns to Pool.
