Hurrah! Alberbo is healthy!

Edit: From Tuttoshit, and run through Google trans, but a very promising, slightly mangled quote...

Doctors: "Very good, just needs confidence." Then farewell to Agnelli in the premises. Six hours of investigation, a new leadership for the sake of avoiding cases of the past. Thursday will be in the stands at the Olimpico TURIN, Aug. 24 - It 's intact. Six hours of tests, visits, medical tests in a real tour de force the city to ensure that the physical Alberto Aquilani is healthy, that does not suffer the aftermath of two serious injuries to joints and muscles. Juventus was very concerned about the physical condition of midfield after last years living in pain. So it has left no stone unturned: as personal care of the new leadership, the player underwent tests much more accurate. The Bianconeri did not want to find home in another case Andrade, but the response of doctors was unanimous and comforting: "The player is very good, we exclude issues from the past. The cartilage of the ankle and knee is perfect, there are no relapses, and has also recovered from the thigh muscle injury. Now he just needs a confidence boost. " So there is the green light: Aquilani may arrive on loan from Liverpool and become a Juventus player, the eighth-Agnelli era purchase Marotta.

Aquilani passes medical
Monday 23 August, 2010

Alberto Aquilani has apparently passed a truly marathon medical at Juventus, which lasted six hours.

Juventus wanted to avoid a situation similar to that of Jorge Andrade, the Portuguese centre-back, whose contract had to be rescinded on account of his physical problems.

Tuttosport cites one of Juventus' medical staff as saying: “The cartilage of the ankle and the knee is perfect and he has also recovered from a muscle tear to the thigh.”

The 25-year-old midfielder is now expected to sign a contract, which confirms his move on loan from Liverpool.

Juventus will have the option to sign him on a permanent basis next summer for a fee thought to be around €16m.

Aquilani joins Milos Krasic, Jorge Martinez, Leonardo Bonucci, Marco Motta and Marco Storari as Juventus' new arrivals in pre-season.

I guess it was the ankle, knee and thigh that prevented them from giving green light yesterday. I got a funny feeling its an amber light that got turned into a green one. Well atleast its a loan. Welcome Alberto.
