I've seen this a few months ago somewhere... Did we have another thread showing this?

In any case, very interesting. I wonder how they handle?

Also, they'd be a biatch in the desert or swamps with sand/mud getting caught in the grooves. They'd probably have to design "Tire Caps" (ermm.. well, "Tire Dognuts" :uncertain: ) to go around the hub caps. Hell, I could see an explosion in the number of tire designs to match certain rims.

These new tires look absolutely ugly and I question how they will handle the road compared to the last generation of tires. How they contract towards the center of the wheel must make a difference compared to how the older version protrudes a bit outwards.

And I thought you were an expert physicist. Todays tires tend to be moving fast enough that it's bloody hard to shoot them out with a handgun, never mind a crossbow. The bullets just skip off a lot of the time.
