because you would have to spend about $1.5 million american to have 1% share. If you invested in an unpredictable team like Juventus, it is quite risky, considering they are owned by the Agnelli's and it is quite possible for FIAT to go bankrupt, leaving you with nothing.

Real estate? You'd be better off investing in legwarmers.

Investing in sports teams has got to be one of the most financially stupid things anyone would do. What's best for the business (i.e., profit) is often at odds with what's best for winning (i.e., the fans).

I am sure they are not doing it for the profit, rather for fun.

Hell, I'd do it (if I had extra couple of hundred millions)

As for real estate- you've got to know how to do it ;) (which I don't)
