It's not that kind of realism. I actually want this series to be as unrealistic as it goes when it comes to the plot. I want superpowers and heroes making appearances. Otherwise I will probably stop watching before this season ends :p.

Yeah I hope they just dont do crappy small time level superhero elements only. And hope that was the last time they copied crappy Iron man 3 plots.

I get you if you are complaining about CW, the channel that does Arrow, Vampire Diaries, Smallville, Nikita, Pretty Little liars and so and so on with shows targeted towards teens/young adults. Its generally filled with limited actors chosen for their looks (basically "models" just a step above daytime soap level). But I wouldnt certainly accuse you this of this show so far, its nothing new that a new unknown actress is chosen for a show, especially a Whedon show. Though if it was, so what? Its based on a superficial medium like comics, and a Marvel one to boot.

And she isnt that hot, you kinda exaggerating if it distracted you that much.

That's exactly what I mean. This episode had the feeling of a CW show. And the pic even backs me up, because she was wearing a heavy make up in the show which made her look plastic. If she looked like on the pic I wouldn't even notice anything.

And so what? Well nothing, I'm just saying it annoys me.

Hey, I get upset when Breaking Bad shows Walt without a completely thought out plan -- I hear ya.

Tbh it doesn't seem like real superheroes happen any time soon. But the same thing happened in Arrow and now we're getting The Flash in season 2 :D.

The flash in season 2 arrow? Sounds good.

And no, I know they will stick with street level heroism mainly, but I hope they just dont do it as small time level of material like the pilot was.
